Jag’s first Indian wedding – and it won’t be his last!

The phone rang at 7:30 Sunday morning. “Can you help?” the man asked. “My brother is getting married this morning. We had a horse lined up well in advance but at at 6:30 this morning, I got a text from the lady saying she wasn’t coming. No reason – just that the horse wasn’t going to be here. I don’t know if you know how important a horse is in an Indian wedding but I’ve phoned everywhere and we’re desperate.”

It sounded like a job for Jag! Jag is a white horse and he’s calm as can be. We quickly made arrangements to get all our other horses to the park for a busy day on the trail so Jag and I could get to Richmond at the last minute for the big event.

And he was perfect! He didn’t mind all the drumming and dancing and excitement going on around him, not one bit. He’d never been anywhere like that before but we know Jag – we’ve had him for over 15 years – and were sure he’d do the right thing.

So now he’s getting outfitted for a proper Indian wedding costume. Look for Jag’s Indian Wedding website soon!

And congratulations to the bride and groom – may you have many, many happy years together!
